MS Counselor Request Form

Welcome to the TVS MS School Counseling Page!
The School Counselor takes an active role in providing academic, career and personal development support and assistance to all students at Twin Valley South Middle School.
My name is Emily Wendt, and I am excited to be at TVS. This year, it is my goal to work with each student individually, as well as implement some lunch groups and other programs that will be accessible to all students.
As a school counselor, I work with students, parents and teachers to encourage students to make the most of their opportunities and education experience at Twin Valley South. Within a comprehensive school counseling program, I work to facilitate individual counseling to enable students to become aware of responsibilities, skills, resources and abilities needed to become lifelong learners, productive workers and successful citizens.
Students are encouraged to take advantage of the counseling services offered at Twin Valley South and to consult with their School Counselor regarding their social/personal concerns as well as future planning. When students need to see me, they are encouraged to fill out a Google Form, with the link listed above, to request a time to see their counselor. Following a request, the counselor will then see a student at a time that least interferes with their academic classes. If there is an emergency situation the student will be seen without an appointment.
All teachers are encouraged to refer students to the counselor whenever there is a concern or need.
If you have a Twin Valley South student that you would like to request to I see, please email with the necessary information and a brief explanation of the current circumstances. I will follow up as necessary.
