On Wednesday, May 2nd, the CP Environmental Science classes took a field trip to the Stone Laboratory, a fieldstation for The Ohio State University and Ohio Sea Grant located on Gibraltar Island in Lake Erie. There the students took a 2 hour science cruise on a research vessel to collect data and specimens to examine in the lab. Later the students examined the plankton they collected, donned boots to collect macroinvertebrates on the shore, and completed a fish dissection.
