Students graduating in 2018 and beyond are required to take EOC (End of Course) exams in English Language Arts I and II, Algebra, Geometry, Biology, American History, and Government. A minimum of 18 points must be earned along with other criteria for the student to meet graduation requirements. (EX: Min. of 4 pts in Eng Lang Arts I and II, Min. of 4 pts in Alg and Geometry, and Min. of 6 pts in Biology, American History, and Government). Please click on the link to learn more about Ohio's new graduation requirements in regards to end of course exams. Other pathways are also available and listed on the ODE website.
Also, all juniors will be taking the ACT in March 2017. The test will be administered at TVS free of charge.  
All available scholarships are posted on the guidance web page (to the right of the page) as well as in paper format located in the guidance hallway. Students are to pay attention to eligibility and deadlines. Many scholarships are to be mailed with a specific postmark date where others are to be turned into the counselor's office. READ DIRECTIONS!!!
Students are encouraged to take the ACT and/or the SAT. Most colleges require one of these tests as part of their application process. Below are links for each test as well as test dates.
The FAFSA is available October 1st of this year. Click on the resource link for advice on filling out the FAFSA.
Senior Information
Composite Pictures
Seniors needing a Class Composite Portrait picture must contact our school photographer ASAP. Only photos taken by Champine Photography will appear in the TVS Yearbook and in the Class of 2017 composite that will hang in the TVS Commons. Call Champine at: 937-572-4960

Baby Pictures Needed
All seniors need to bring or e-mail a baby/toddler picture to TVS to be scanned and included in the Senior Memories program that is presented during graduation. Mr. Young and the Media class will be creating this program. All pictures will be returned to you. Due by March 24th.

Then & Now Fun Pictures
Students should bring or email photos of groups of seniors over the years to Mr. Young and the Media class. We prefer photos from elementary and middle school years that show fun activities from classroom, sports, dances, birthdays and field trips. Due by March 24th.

If you would like to receive text messages regarding senior news and information, complete the following:
1. Text 81010 and in the message bar type @tvsseniors
2. You will receive a message in which you need to reply with your first and last name.

You are now signed up to receive news specifically for seniors.
Students wanting to request transcripts can do so by filling out a transcript request form online, under downloads, or hanging in the basket on Mrs. Cottingim's door. Please be sure to fill out the exact mailing address of where you want the transcript sent.
CCP Students
Those students interested in particpating in CCP for the 2017-18 school year are required to complete a Letter of Intent as well as a Parent Authorization Form. The Letter of Intent form is due to Mrs. Cottingim no later than April 1, 2017. Both forms are located in the high school office.
1. Complete Letter of Intent form and Parent Authorization form
2. Apply to Sinclair online-click on high school student application
3. Once you are accepted register to take the AccuPlace test, if needed
    *New CCP students will need to take the Accu Placer test
    *Current CCP students do not need to retake the test 
4. Pay attention to register dates, dependent on term  
5. Ask questions!!!
