TVS Drama Club is excited to announce its spring production of the timeless stage play The Wizard of Oz, based on L. Frank Baum's beloved novel. This non-musical adaptation will bring Dorothy, the Scarecrow, Tinman, and the Cowardly Lion to life in a new and thrilling way, while still capturing the magic and heart of this iconic tale. The talented cast and crew will put their hearts into bringing these characters and their journey to life, and we can’t wait to share it with our community.”
The cast of The Wizard of Oz features a talented ensemble of students, with standout performances from the following lead actors:

The production also features a vibrant ensemble of Munchkins and Flying Monkeys, that will be filled by elementary students in the months to come, as well as a talented team of stagehands and tech crew who bring the magical world of Oz to life.
This stage play adaptation focuses on the rich dialogue and emotional depth of the original story, allowing the cast to bring their characters to life through powerful performances and dramatic storytelling. With visually striking sets and imaginative costumes, the production will transport audiences from Kansas to the vibrant land of Oz.
