TVS Science Club participated in Audubon's 118th Christmas Bird Count on Thursday, December 14, 2017.  29 students braved the cold winter weather and visted Rush Run and the Preble County Historic Farm to observe what birds were active that day.  Song sparrows, Cardinals, Red Bellied Woodpeckers, Blue Jays, Rock Doves, Redtailed Hawks, a juvenile Bald Eagle and about 50 Sandhill Cranes were observed.  Mrs. Judd also observed a group of Sandhill Cranes and shared a video with me found below.
